During the Christmas holiday I have decided to go on retirement from Wageningen University on January 1st, 2017. So this year will be my last year in active service for this magnificent university. I will give my farewell address on October 20, 2016, 16:00hrs in the Auditorium of Wageningen University, Generaal Foulkesweg 1, during the international conference on Competence Theory, Research and Practice (see www.competence2016.nl). I expect that given my holiday leave days I will effectively disengage from the university during the middle of November.
