These are a couple of photo impressions of my tour from Houston to Atlanta during the last three weeks. I had the privilege to meet with various colleagues and present in the field of Agricultural Education and Extension and Educational Sciences at Texas A&M in College Station, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and Georgia State University in Atlanta. In Atlanta I gave a presentation at the gathering of the Association of Professional Futurists, on the topic of the future of education. With this group I visited the Adaptive Digital Media (ADAM) Lab of Georgia TechGeorgia, located at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In that lab programs have been developed which support contextualized computational competence development in high school classes on computer science. Applications are developed in music composing (e.g. for DJs), dance, and drawing.
